Keswick & Central Lakeland

The slate filled town of Keswick is nestled in between some of the Lake Districts biggest peaks and flanked at either end by two stunning Lakes. The market town is home to a wonderful market square with activities for all the family and shops and cafes for whatever taste. The wonderful Theatre by the Lake is worth a trip to too!

Windermere, Bowness & Ambleside

Set in the South of the Lake District National Park, perhaps the busiest of the Lakes with many Lakeland slate buildings and great steamer boat taking you from Bowness to Ambleside at the north shore of the lake. With many of the Wainwrights walks all around you, what more could you want on a summers day in Britain? Take a trip to Grasmere where you will find Dove Cottage, home of William Wordsworth and of course, the world famous, Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Ginger Bread.

Cockermouth

The Georgian town on the west coast of Cumbria. Not far from Buttermere Lake and the childhood home of famous poet, William Wordsworth. You can visit his home, Wordsworth House where it is set as it would have been in the 1700’s. You can take a trip down the coastal path to the historic Muncaster Castle or head in land to some of the finest peaks and lakes in all of the Lake District.
