Our Cottage
The Cosy Nook Cottage is a 2 bedroom country cottage dating back to the 17th century. The property has two spacious double bedrooms, one with king-size bed and sofa bed (suitable for one child) and ensuite shower. The second bedroom offers a super-king size bed which can be made into twin beds if required. A travel cot is available upon request. Both bedrooms have flat screen tv’s, and there is a family bathroom on the first floor.
Living areas include a spacious open plan kitchen/dining room and large living room with log burner, flat screen tv and lovely outlook to the front patio and orchard beyond. There is a downstairs cloakroom and store for coats and muddy boots. At the rear of the cottage there is an enclosed lawned garden with seating. As well as offering lovely family accommodation, The Cottage is dog friendly. We welcome one well behaved dog to stay.

Cosy Nook Cottage is situated in the village of Warcop in the Upper Eden Valley which offers spectacular walking and outdoor activities and so much more including discovering the fascinating history of the area. It is a stones-throw from the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and County Durham making it the perfect holiday destination or even a stop off on your way to Scotland or the South of England.
The Cottage sits in a quiet corner of Warcop nestled between a house called the Nook, formerly the wartime army officers mess, and a dairy farm. Surrounded by gardens and the countryside beyond you are sure to feel you have escaped to the country!
