The Eden Valley

Did you know? Cumbria has the highest concentration of Michelin Star restaurants outside of London! The Eden Valley is the third largest borough in England but the least populated!
The Eden Valley
Set in the heart of the Cumbria and only a short drive from the M6 & A66. The former home of Richard III and home to plenty of great independent shops, surrounded by beautiful villages including, Kirkoswald, Lazonby, Armathwaite and Clifton. Superb visitor attractions include, Aira Force and Ullswater, Rheghead Centre, Lowther Castle & Gardens, Dalemain Mansion, Hutton in the Forest, Acorn Bank and plenty of sporting estates for country sports such as, shooting, fishing and horse riding.
The Ancient Royal Borough of Appleby, the county town of Old Westmorland and home to Appleby Castle dating back to the 12th Century, the main street that stretches from the church at the bottom of the hill to the castle at the top. The street called, Borough Gate that is flanked by a mixture of 16th, 17th & 18th, 19th century houses, shops and cafes.
